Methods Engineer – Maintenance (SSI)
As a Methods Engineer within the Robustness and Performance department at Paris-Orly Airport, I led a major project aimed at ensuring the reliability of regulatory maintenance for fire safety equipment (fire hydrants, sprinklers, smoke extraction systems). The goal was to achieve 100% completion of maintenance tasks, reduce corrective interventions, and implement a sustainable, controlled, and compliant management system.
I carried out a cross-functional effort combining data structuring, workload optimization via SAP PM, standardization of technical references, and inter-site coordination with Roissy-CDG. This strategic and operational project enabled me to strengthen process robustness, improve action clarity, and deliver tangible gains in performance, reliability, and visibility.
Key responsibilities :
- Conducted inventory of regulatory equipment and fire safety systems
- Analyzed workload by extracting work orders (OT) from SAP PM and modeling monthly workloads
- Developed a prioritized maintenance strategy in collaboration with workshop managers and technical supervisors
- Identified non-executable maintenance procedures, created an impact/effort matrix, and implemented action plans
- Targeted outsourcing of low-value or specialized tasks through existing contracts
- Optimized processes via comprehensive mapping, elimination of duplicate work orders, and standardization of naming conventions in the CMMS
- Established a dedicated workstation for regulatory maintenance and created a shared Gantt-style tracking file
- Harmonized practices between Orly and CDG by developing a common reference framework for critical equipment
